It gives me great pleasure to greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to update you all on the ministry of Skripja Yunyon (SU)Vanuatu.

A new Council was appointed in 2007 to prayerfully look at reviving the ministry that has helped shape the Christian foundation of the lives of thousands of young people throughout Vanuatu. Many of these people impacted by the ministry of Skripja Yunyon through the years are now serving as leaders in their local churches, in the government, in the private sector, and in the community at large - as well as contributing to the make-up of the membership of the new Council.

The work of SU Vanuatu is largely voluntary. The practice in the past has been to have a full-time staff worker to coordinate the activities of SU ministry in schools, and also the camping program. New sub-committees have been introduced, each with the responsibility of overseeing the various ministries of SU Vanuatu. They include (a) SU Campsite Management Committee, (b) Primary Schools Ministry Committee, (c) Secondary / Tertiary Institutions Ministry Committee, (d) SU Resources and Publications Committee, and (e) Publicity Committee. News of these ministries will be regularly updated on this website. We are keen to explore practical ways of expanding the ministry and benefits of the SU networks to people in the scattered islands of Vanuatu, especially through primary and high schools.

SU Vanuatu raises most of its funds from donations and fund-raising activities, where people who believe in the ministry of SU are encouraged to participate in this very practical way.

The purpose of this website is to keep friends of Skripja Yunyon, both in Vanuatu and overseas, up-to-date with events and activities. Our prayer is that this site will both inform and inspire you to express your support for the ministry of Skripja Yunyon Vanuatu.
